It seems that major enterprises have communications shopping and learning needs that can't be suppressed in a recession.
Attendance here at VoiceCon show in Orlando's Gaylord Palms Resort is quite solid, and from my observation, at least as good as 2008's conference. This probably should come as no surprise since 94% of Americans ARE employed, and these attendees are usually the backbone, the Quiet Ones, the unsung heros of telecom departments around the country.
I've had my first two appointments already and enjoyed the dialog with both executives. Should be a fun week, although I won't get out of the Gaylord – Coronado Springs Resort circle since I am totally booked with some 15 appointments over the next two days.
