Third of industry reports on audio, web, video conferencing shows users in Software, Business Process Outsourcing and IT Services markets meet face-to-face most often
Northborough, MA October 2, 2007 – Brockmann & Company released its latest independent, self-funded report on the role of face-to-face meetings and audio, web and video conferencing in the conduct of business in the software, business process outsourcing and information technologies services industries. The report, entitled "Conferencing in Software, BPO and IT Services Industries " is available for a limited time for free download on http://www.brockmann.com.
Peter Brockmann, President and Research Director of Brockmann & Company said, "Conferencing of all types are important to business success. 38% of users expect the length and 64% expect the frequency of audio conferencing to increase. This was the largest length and frequency increases reported."

Some of the report findings include:
- Face-to-face meetings are the most important conferencing service
- Half of the respondents would rather pay $71.15 to attend a video conference than drive 40 miles to a face-to-face meeting while others would pay $10 more
- Reliability is the most important factor in decisions about audio conferencing
- Ease of operation is the most important factor in decision about video conferencing
