This report summarizes the views of immersive telepresence users. Three conclusions are reached and presented in this report:
- Users of immersive telepresence services tend to be heavy consumers of visual collaboration capabilities, in the first place
- Users of immersive telepresence services tend to value visual collaboration more than other forms, and more than same day trips as compared to others
- Using immersive telepresence services is an indicator of higher business performance
Most significant in these observations is how the exposure to immersive telepresence services colors users’ expectations. Their willingness to pay more to attend visual collaboration sessions instead of the classic business travel, audio conference or web conference as compared to others is attributable to the immersive telepresence experience.
